Pequot Lakes Educational Access to Technology (PLEAT)
"Register" for the PLEAT Agreement indicating you and your student understand the district policy on technology use in the school. You may opt out of a school issued device and BYOD (Bring your own device) thereby removing the $20 fee shown above. However, all 7-12 students are expected to 'register' to acknowledge they have reviewed the district policy on technology use.
All students in grades 7-12 will be offered a district owned Chromebook to use at school and at home to access educational resources and complete school work. Students are expected to charge them every night and bring them to school every morning. Students will also be provided with a protective bag/case to reduce the possibility of damage. Students will pick up their assigned Chromebook at Open House or on picture day in the Media Center. Before being given the Chromebook, all students must do the following: 1. Acknowledge that both the student and parent/guardian have reviewed the PLEAT Agreement and district policy 524. 2.
