KIDS HIKING CLUB GRADES 4 - 7 (2021-2022 School Year)
Do you like to hike and explore the outdoors? Join the Kids Hiking Club this summer!
The group will meet one morning a week to hike different trails in the lakes area. Each hike will include nature journaling as we explore the area and learn about the plants and animals that live there. Kids will need to bring a water bottle, snack, rain jacket, comfortable walking shoes and a backpack each week. Hikes will gradually increase in distance each week, leading up to the last full day hiking experience. Positive attitudes will be encouraged!
*Parents must provide transportation to & from hike location
Hikes will be led by Eagle View teacher, Nature Center coordinator and U of M Extension Master Naturalist Deanne Trottier.
