SU23 10U Colt Baseball 3rd-4th Grade Boys (2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR)
Player must currently be in 3rd-4th grade *verification may be required.
Program will focus on skills and fundamentals. There will be games played against area communities. Coaches pitch 2 innings, players pitch balance of innings (2-3).
Season will tentatively start the week of April 4 with a skills clinic, and end the week of June 26. There will typically be either 1-2 practices per week or 1 practice and 1 game per week.
Games will start the first week of June and be in the evening on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, starting no earlier than 5:30 p.m. Practice day of the week will be based on field availability. Practices will be in Pequot or Breezy, there will be some traveling required for games. All transportation will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians. It is strongly recommended that players wear baseball pants or sweats (they may need to slide) and tennis shoes or cleats (no metal cleats allowed). Team jerseys will be provided (thanks to business sponsors). Players must provide their own glove & helmet (players can no longer share helmets due to COVID). If players do not have a helmet, there will be a limited number of helmets available to check out for the season. A deposit may be required.
Registration deadline = April 2, 2023; registrations accepted after April 2 only if space is available & will be charged a late fee. Registrations received after April 30 may not receive a team jersey.
